Lidded buckets -- need google-fu help

I need to get some plastic buckets with lids. I’m looking at the 2.5 to 1.5 gallon range. I found these, but I know that ULine isn’t the cheapest.

Consolidated Plastic had a much better price, but they’ve got a minimum order of $50, and I only need 3.

Have you looked at Winco or a hardware store?

I bought some square buckets from this source

Good service.

And… I may have some round white buckets in the range you want. Thought I was buying full size at an auction. Results varied at pickup. But I’ll have to see if I can figure out where I put them.

Good point. And, I may just do that. Anybody can be reimbursed for up to $50 still, right? @Bizwacky?

Naw – got to buy their buckets by the $100 case…

I was in Winco a couple of days ago and they have plastic buckets ~2 gal.

If you need one ASAP, I picked up a 2 gallon with lid at Lowe’s. Obviously not the cheapest, but you can get one right away.

I’ll do that, most likely. They’re one of my 3 stores I buy groceries from.

I’m not sure if they still do this, but Firehouse Subs use to sell their empty pickle buckets for pretty cheap in the restaurant.

You can get 2.5 gallon buckets. They have same lids as 5 gallon buckets. I’d recommend getting a Gamma lid.

Here’s the purchasing rules. So for anything up to $200, the committee chair needs to approve but anyone who wants to can make the actual purchase. You can either go through a procurement agent or just do it yourself and request reimbursement.
