I’ve got the north (102) warehouse reserved for overflow/inclement weather.
@TBJK do ya’ll need power out there?
it seems that we will most likely have storms in the morning at least. that was what they were saying on the 10 weather tonight. By the way does anyone know where there was flooding in Carrollton. They showed a picture of some but I did not recognize the location, but I don't know Carrollton super well. I skipped the meeting tonight because I didn't want to worry about trying to get through the high water by the railroad tracks
Yes for the electric knife
I’ve got the bread, pickles and onions.
I’ll need a single 120, or some charged 12v deep cycles, for my pellet system.
I’m currently bringing about 20-odd jalepeno poppers, and about 10 smoked corn husks (since that’s all I could fit in my unit). I’ll also bring my knife set
I found the limit of my current configuration to be 5 briskets.
Hum… I think I’ll bring Chips and Dip. It’s not a party if there’s no Chip-and-dip…
just grab a ryobi sawzall instead of an electric knife from the workshop area. use a fresh blade?
Did you survive the overnighter? How’re them briskets doin’?
Bought a pop up to keep the rain from affecting the temp as much. Just put probes in & only seem to have 1 in stall currently.
I’m reading this post and thinking we should have a DMS bbq contest in the future, with a maker vote!
Yep, looking good. Just about ready to pull a few off the pit.
Ain’t technology grand?
Yes, yes it is. God Bless Merica!
2 are done, wrapped & in the cooler. Now if the other 3 would just behave, I’d feel better.
I also had to be inventive when taking them off as my silicone gloves have gone missing.
I’m bringing golden chick rolls and green beans. Man, I sure wish we had a soft serve ice cream machine for this event too.
We are enroute. 10-15 minutes
Thank you for the delicious brisket and to everyone else for bringing the other wonderful food…
Thank you all for coming. Thank you all that volunteered to help.
Out of almost 63lbs of brisket that was cooked, this was the only thing that was left. All the sausage that @Scott_Blevins made was eaten. All the Jalapeño droppers @hon1nbo made also were gone.
