Tired of making cutting boards? Why not learn how to make Cat shaped trivets? Tivets are placed under hot pans so the coulter won’t be damaged. It’s a great gift idea. You can use all most any kind of wood and they can be completed in a single afternoon.

This class will teach what you need to know, including how that create router templates for other shapes.

P.S. Some makers use this technique to make blanks to paint.

Learn how make a template on the Laser, transfer the shape to a wood blank, rough it out it with the bandsaw, then trim it on the router table.

It only requires that you have completed Woodshop Safety & Orientation class. Very little experience is expected, and none is required.
