Any possibility on a class on the basics of using traditional lathe tools? I am in the process of switching over from carbide cutters to traditional lathe tools and could use some help in how to avoid catches and how to do dlfferent kinds of cuts with different tools Also I am available in the afternoon and evenings on weekdays.

While I use traditional gouges I don’t feel like I’m qualified to teach. There are some very experienced turners here, I’m trying to get them to put up some classes. Stay tuned
