The question is…what is the highest they can be fired to?
Bisque was fired at 04
But what can they be fired to when glazed. If they are low fire they will melt in our cone 6 firings, so it is most important that we know.
I would like the Old World Santa’s and any teapots…and large Santa. Please IM your address will you be around this weekend?!
My mom has a Paragon kiln and would fire glaze with 06 cone
Most of these are for acrylic, chalk, or oil painting techniques. The tea pots look great with strokes and coats or low fire glaze.
I just wanted to make sure members know not to glaze fire them if they are in fact low fire.
My mom painted ceramics for wholesale distribution for years and has used underglazes and glazes on this type bisque fired in a Paragon kiln with 06 cone and never had a problem.
Hope this helps:)
Please send address to pick up
I would like the stack of plates I can see on the top left of the picture, if it’s not too late. Could you bring them to DMS?
I am fully aware that these will need to be low-fire glazed, not to our high-fire Cone 6.
Thanks for your interest, but all the bisque has been given away.
