Lasersaur is tired

I used the lasersaur last night and the poor girl is tired. I was cutting 1/4 inch acrylic and had to set the cut speed a snail and the power at max. It took me 6 minutes to make my cut once, on the thunder laser I was able to make the same cut cleaner in 1 minute.

Might be dirty optics or time to replace laser tube.

@laser_committee, What is our next step?

I think an incorrect focus block keeps getting into use, and probably an alignment check would make sense.

I used the White t shaped focus block, is this now incorrect?

Not sure, at least that is not the one I knew was suspect.

I think the tube was a dud. It measures at half it’s rated power and that was months ago. Laser committee has money to order a new tube. @PearceDunlap, want me to order a new tube and expense it to laser committee?
