I am looking at buying a laser level. I’m wanting something that works for marking the same height of 4 walls, all at once, preferably self leveling.
Do I buy a rotary level?
Is there anything that a line level can do that a rotary level cannot?
If I should go ahead and buy both, should I spend more money on one as opposed to the other?
Is there a level that can hit all 4 walls at once, while projecting the beam upward at an angle, keeping the plane level all the way around the room? or do I just need a taller tripod at that point?
While you can’t borrow it from MakerSpace, CA has a laser level that is used to align the pictures that are hung.
It’s in the CA room, in Plastic tool tote, it has several drawers is sort of a brownish tan color, drawers are clear. About 16"~18" tall, 12" wide and 10’ or so deep., Usually on the top of the shelves.
You can at least try it out and see what you like or dislike about it. If Nicole is around she knows how to use it and I believe so does Pearce.
I’m looking more for a rotary type level so I can throw one line on all 4 walls at the same time. Hoping one of the makers has experience and can recommend one for under $300.
