Has anyone engraved a Leuchtturm notebook that may have the laser settings handy? It’s a leather(like) hardcover and I’m trying to get this design.
The cardboard notebooks came out perfect but I can’t perfect this coated material. Perhaps it’s not possible.
The last image looks like plastic. Do you know what kind of plastic that is?
I don’t know. The blue and orange ones are Moleskine soft cover notebooks. The product info doesn’t have any specific material listed for the cover.
The Leuchtturm that I need to do next doesn’t have any specs for the cover either.

might try masking with vinly then etching through the vinyl. That way the soot will leave with the vinyl. products like oramask may work.
