What sort of work did you want to do on MOP?

Thin sheets similar to veneers will work if you are doing inlays.

Hi Beth,
I am inquiring for an artist friend ( Zohar Tong [email protected]) who wants to buy a laser cutter for use on application sheets of MOP.
See pix attached. He is looking for advice in buying and using a machine to cut the designs into the MOP sheets.
Any input you have would be greatly appreciated.

I would consider contacting Epilog Lasers in Colorado. They have lab where they will do sample cuts for you.

I have zero experience with lasers. I was just checking to see if something more traditional might be the answer. I’d go with SWA’s answer.
