For a couple of my projects, I’m going to be plasma cutting parts out of large 4’x8’ sheets of steel and aluminum. Is there a place that I can store them for a couple days while I work on the projects? I know theres the big shelfs outside the woodworking shop for temp project storage, could I claim a section of one of them?

Temp project storage is available for any projects, not just woodshop.
Do you think there is a large enough space to store sheets that size?
The area closest to the Woodshop has vertical storage. Tape your storage “tag” to your items.

People store sheets of plywood there. Should be comparable.
We have a member that already temporarily stores full sheets. He carries them in the day before his cutting session. Please take care not to get grease on lumber that will be sharing the same space.
