Laguna Bandsaw Sign-Off

Hey @Team_Woodshop,

Been away from the woodshop for a little while and see the new Laguna bandsaws.

I understand there is a training needed to start using them and the current class is full so wanted to see what I could do to get access.

Thank You!

I assume you made this post because you need a Bandsaw and the jet Bandsaw has been down for a few days.

If so, I placed a record in Talk for you to check status as @Team_Woodshop works the issue

The way to get access to the Laguna Bandsaws is to take the Bandsaws for Makers class.

I offer the class ever two or three weeks. With the holidays, that schedule is a little off. Watch the schedule to see if anyone drops from the one that is posted. Also, I will look at my schedule and get another posted

@Team_Woodshop .

Eric C.at Calgary Protospace here with a plea for verbal consultation

We have massive 153" 3 hp bandsw as well as the usual 93.5" bandsaw and I’d love to discuss what yu folks have figured out for training and speak with someone whom has dealings to solve problems with foolks whom ignore admonishing and think they can hand-hold logs for resawing against 3 hp

There’s an additional fly in the ointment that I would also like to discuss. - a new 2hp lathe that is a step and a half up from our little 500$ jet lathe, and I’d like to acquire perspectives on problems implementing that.
