Laguna bandsaw adjusted

I think i may have found a reason why we’ve been burning up bandsaw blades on the laguna. I was resawing when i started to see sparks flying from the upper bearing support so i shut down and assessed. The back of the blade has cut a groove into both the bearing and the support bracket (see pics). I readjusted the bearing so its not in its self-made groove and so the blade is father away from the bracket. Afterward, blade ran smoother and presumably cooler. We should replace that bearing at some point though.

So this is more so correlation not causation, and while I do think this is a symptom of the same thing causing the the blade wear I don’t believe it to be the cause of the quick blade life
