Jewelry lost wax casting?

Just curious if we have the necessary equipment to do jewelry lost wax casting at DMS and if there is ever a class that’s offered.

Yes, we have the capabilities for casting, however, there have been some challenges with the electrical supply. For this reason, these specific classes will be postponed until it is addressed. We hope to have more power ran over to the area soon. Once this is done @Kati will be leading classes for the department.

Big thanks to @dallasmagna for helping get all the electrical issues sorted out.

Please remind us in what materials we can cast? I seem to recall “no brass”, right?

I think we are limited to silver, gold, and bronze and maybe lead free pweter it you supply you own
crucible
