The 2nd jet lathe quit working during class tonight. I swapped for the spare and put a red cone on it. I believe there is a short in the switch. It would turn on forca second or 2 a turn off.
I replaced the controller assembly this morning. Potentiometer, power switch, display, etc. The full assembly.
Lathe will not reach over 200 RPM.
With the new control panel installed the intermittent power to the unit seemed more stable.
Voltage at wall was checked as per troubleshooting in the attached. I think we may have a bad motor.
