The next Membership Meeting is TONIGHT - Thursday, January 14th at 8pm.
Last month, we made quorum - with nothing on the agenda…
This month, we do have something on the agenda - Let’s make quorum again!!!
Come discuss and vote on whether to continue using the current Dallas Makerspace logo, an updated version of the current logo, or the completely redesigned version.
If you are a committee chair, please add your report to the meeting. Bullet points are the standard format, so please don’t feel pressured to write a novella.
As of right now, we have ?? voting members. This means we need at least ?? voting members present to reach quorum, so please come out to the meeting.
On that note, it’d probably be best to send an email to: [email protected] sooner than later, so it’s already “in writing” prior to the meeting.
If you don’t send it to the Board ([email protected]) for whatever reason, at a very minimum - please at least send a message to the person you want to act as your proxy…
Many members opt to send the message to both their proxy and the Board…
I have two proxies for CA … if any other folks would like to provide me a proxy, if for no other reason than to make quorum, please send me a PM stating I have your proxy. If there is an agenda item you’d like me vote on, let me know how you’d want it voted.
So far I’ve received 3 proxies, if you have voting rights and aren’t attending, considering giving them to someone you know or committee chair so we can make quorum. Again if there is an issue of interest you wanted voted a certain way, tell the proxy holder.
We made quorum! Thanks to everyone who showed up, and to everyone who could not make it but had proxies in their place!
Below is a draft of the minutes for the meeting (as copied from the wiki from the link in the original post on this thread)…
