I just posted another Jack-O’-Lantern build class for this Saturday, September 21, from 2-4PM. If you haven’t had a lot of hands-on experience with the laser cutters, this is a great introduction to what the lasers can do.

Everyone will leave with their own jack-o’-lantern at the end of class. This is a perfect beginner class where we’ll cover basic laser operation, assembly, and finishing. No prior laser or woodshop experience necessary.

Looks fun. What is the joinery method? I was half-expecting a ‘boxes.py’ type joinery via the laser, but I can’t see any in the photos.

I have added another class - Oct 8 @ 6:30PM: LINK

@Scott_Blevins - just simple butt joint with glue and pin nails. Box joints and tabs might work but would probably be better with 3mm plywood [flatter and more dimensionally uniform].
