Is my eyes seeing cake or is that PoE with Powerline?

@Team_VCC and @Team_Infrastructure Came across the Powerline 200 AV PoE+. thought one couldn’t do both?

Turns out this is working because at the Powerline end its injecting the power into the link but no power is being injected else where.

Poor man’s version is to use the following:

This provides data that’s interjected into the powerlines and at the termination point injects power into the ethernet cable. From there the splitter breaks that up and the UGreen supplies both data & power to any otg/usb enabled device (ie raspberry pi, chromecast, android, etc…).

One never needs to run cable again

Of course there’s always the option to go straight Poe for select PI devices

Now all that is left is how to do HDMI over IP since usb over ip is already a thing:

Not cheap, but extremely versatile.
