Hello, I was wondering if the discount code for Lightburn is still working.
I am having trouble, I completed the laser safety and operation course on Learn and scored 100% on the quiz. I follow the link on Source and add the software to the cart proceed to check out but it asks for a discount code. If anyone can shed light on this topic I would really appreciate it.
I’m told (but have not verified) that the code is on the Source page for laser, but you need to be logged in to see it.

there is a link that describes how to report problems, but you will need to update your profile to use it. follow the instructions here:

yep, i’m logged in. I see the link to the website but no discount code.
Ok, thank you for the info. I hope we can cotinue to get a discount for DMS members in the future.
Me too, I want to get lightburn. I have taken both the Laser BootCamp and passed the Laser 101 online class. Please let me know when the license discount is available.
The code has been renewed for quite some time now and is available at the following link for members that have passed laser classes:

You are a lifesaver! I thought based on this thread that there wasn’t one and didn’t go looking further. Thanks!
Thank you. I have submitted. It tells me to wait for an email from Britton Burt and Jack Smith. Appreciate it.
Curious if you receive any reply re the code. I’ve tried the process 3 times over the course of several weeks and still no code. Not urgent so I haven’t pressed the issue.
@pixelthinker & @kirk444 , were you able to click on this link? If it asks you to sign in, please use the same user name password as when you login to billing or to book a class on the calendar.
Once in, it has a link you can click called Lightburn discount savings code. Click on that, then click on the link that comes up, and it will take you straight to Lightburn to purchase the software with the code already applied to the cart. It let me make a Lightburn account and purchase it for $50+tax in a few minutes.

Please let me know if you’re still having issues and we’ll troubleshoot from there ![]()
I have gone through that exact process several times and I get a screen saying:
but I never receive an email. I have not bugged Burt yet because it’s not urgent, but since another member is interested in Lightburn, I thought I’d point out that I’ve had the same issue.
Odd, there no prompt at all for me to sending anything to Burt at that link and I can’t get it to give me one anywhere I click in, so it must be something weird with Source.
This is the link for reference:

I’ve got a class with him in a few minutes and I’ll ask him there. @SWA , catch you in a few on this
If I had to guess, its probably an AD groups issue where you aren’t on the list of approved users. For example, I took a fusion laser class before the AD group for that one was setup up and had to have Burt add me manually to access the code for the computer on the source site.

Thanks for sharing the link! I am not listed for lasers. I’ll ask Burt to add me as I’ve taken the online class and 3 in-person classes.
Hi @pixelthinker, no, I haven’t gotten a message yet. I was thinking of getting the 30-day trial version, but as it’s not a hurry, I think I’ll wait and ask when I see one of them. I have a bandsaw class next week.
Hi @kirk444 , I talked with @SWA last night and he confirmed that the page won’t work if you don’t have the laser group showing when you log into the whoami link above. If you check there and don’t see it, please ask him to add you to the laser ad. He’s not getting the messages through Source, so your best bet is in person or Talk. Thanks!
Thanks for being spot on @GreenOrbs !
