Hello. I hope one of the Inventor pros can help. I’ve managed to open an AutoCad DWG file containing my vectors. However, it seems to open/create it as a inventor Drawing file. Is there a way to convert a drawing into a 2D sketch (a Part) so that I can use the Extrude function on it. Any help is appreciated. thanks.
Turns out the easy thing to do is upgrade and use Inv 2016 instead of 2014. seems to open/import as a sketch just fine although it is a LOT slower.
