it looks like (at least from what I can find on Talk) Civic Hacking has been inactive for a couple of years. I would like to see if I am missing activity that I am just not seeing, or if it would be possible to get the SIG back up and actively running again.
I am in my final semester as a master’s degree candidate in Emergency Management and Disaster Science (EMDS) program at the University of North Texas, and I’m especially interested in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications for community involvement in disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.
