Who would like to play some older games on the big screen? (I.e. Sonic, Super Mario Bros.)
Who would like to play Modded games on the big screen? (I.e. Kaizo Mario)
For those who have not heard of Kaizo Mario, Check out Dram551’s Speed Run of Kaizo Level 1. (below, Hopefully.)
Either would be late night on possibly a Friday or Saturday night in the Lecture Hall.
I’m pretty damn good at SMW, but that rom hack stuff is ridiculous.
I don’t know how anyone can play that without save states. A bit too masochistic for me, but I would totally come to a retro game night!
I have an N64, Dreamcast and SNES mini I could bring.
The issue we always have is a noise factor, we always get asked to turn stuff down. If the Vector expansion is large enough to house a play area we are all for it. The pins and the Neo were frequented when in the lobby area and also on the floor. There was a coinops setup in Vector for a long time that nobody used. Would be good to gauge interest. I’m all about the games
I’ve got a retroPi with 2 snes controllers. I’m probably tied up this weekend, but I can loan it out if someone wants. There are also 2 or 3 big screens in interactive.
