Installing octoprint plugins? and octoprint support lifecycle

Hey, All I was wondering if we can install octoprint plugins?

In addition to that I was wondering if there is a support lifecycle (set dates for updating the octoprints) for the local Makerspace octoprints?
Because whenever I try to use the pause button it breaks, I think updating the octoprints might fix this issue.

that’s not the pause you’re thinking of… the pause button in octoprint will never work great (without widespread firmware support), because printers have a buffer of gcode that can take quite a long time to exhaust.
