Industrial Frost Sculpture Project for New Business Seeks Quotes

We are in the process of making final decorating decisions for a new Cryotherapy Spa.

The project we have in mind is a hanging sculpture of pipes covered in frost that will connect to two, adjacent, perpendicular walls.

The sculpture will loosely fill a majority of a space that is about 10’Lx10’w’5ft high.

We want to create the impression of something that seems to connect into the walls and may actually seem to be realistically frosted over, but without creating anything heavy or overly expensive.

My working concept is to:

  1. Build the framework of it out of the cheapest, lightweight pipe material i can find,
  2. Spray it with a couple layers of adhesive and fake snow with glitter in it
  3. Hang it from the exposed rafters with heavier wire than necessary for show
  4. Cement it to the wall in a few places to make the pipe appear to be going through the wall
  5. Touch up the frosty snow coating
  6. Light it with some color controllable LED lights suspended around it.

I’m open to better and more sophisticated approaches to this and would love to engage an expert.

If this project is feasible, there’s real savings in wall finishing to be had, so this project is in the $1000+ range.
