The biggest question for CA would be “where the heck would we put the sucker?”

Yeah digital arts room is pretty packed as it is. They’re small, fits in about a 1x1.5x1’ volume

Sorry to hear your pulling it back,

Though I do remember the games that can be at play in an organization as large and multifaceted as DMS. I might reach out around the time for pyrofest and ask to borrow your’s for that weekend. Because, when needing to print 100+ badges and do registration we can exceed the wanted output of one printer at times. As these are a bit slow.

DMS really should have a printer like this around somewhere. They are pretty perfect for the group, as the only thing you really can break, without intentional malice, is the Dyesub film carrier or the film in the carrier and the foot print for storage of the machine and all supplies is maybe 3 cubic feet.

Note for fixing, because you never know when people find this via google.
Fixing the film is easy, you tape it back together, It is kin of funny to do when it accidentally sticks to a car during a print failure. And, you replace the film carrier when you load new film so you usually have extras and typically touch it very infrequently.
