I bought a printbot a year ago and need some help

I got the version 1 and it needs some calibration but not able to get it to work properly, stuff like plastic not sticking to bed

I am pretty sure it is not level but not sure how to fix it.

Would someone who has the v1 would be willing to spend a few hours getting it going properly.

Mike Churchill build one. You way ask him for help or me, but it has been some time sine we did the build . Normally we are there on Thur evening.

Eric, I should be at the DMS Thursday (1/29/15) evening. I’d be glad to help teach you how to get it calibrated.

Note that in carrying it home, you might need to recalibrate the Z-height.

FWIW, I designed a 3-point leveling system for the PrintrBot (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:55405) you might consider using for an upgrade in the future - makes the process of leveling the bed quick and accurate.

I am not able to be there on thursdays but i can be here on mondays and wednesdays…

We actually have several members who have built their own 3D printers.

It might help to let us know what time frames you can be available on Mondays & Wednesdays, since we have a pretty wide variety of members at the 'Space! (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Late Night, etc…).

Eric, I am usually at the DMS on Thursday’s from 7pm to until at least around Midnight, and usually can be found back in the workshop area. Ask for Mike Churchill.

If you could make yourself available late in the evening, I’m sure I could help you out and I’d be glad to give you a hand. Unfortunately, Thursday is the only day I am reliably at the 'Space.
