I’d like to access the circular hatch on inside top of my microwave for cleaning purposes, but can’t quit figure it out. There are directions on hatch in pic about “open/close in this direction” with arrows pointing the direction of spin, so it clearly rotates off.
The yellow circles are where there are some raised patterns of bumps for assisting finger friction grip to push on to rotate it. Just pushing on them and trying to spin hatch off doesn’t seem to do much, i.e. it doesn’t just easily rotate as expeced.
There is something in the red circle, but it is not a screw, and it doesn’t seem to want to push up/in, i.e. it doesn’t appear top be a release button, but I also am not sure what it is for.
Anyone ever done this…I can’t find anything on YouTube with search terms/phrases I am using. e.g. the title of this thread.
