Hello, i have a bunch of old ram and random little electronics that id like to try and get the gold out of, im not sure what the best way is to go about it and i wanted to see if any one here could guide me or has experience with a project like this.

Steve Blanchard still does this. No longer a member. From what I recall there’s some nasty chemistry involved. Think hazmat suit and hazmat leftovers.
Might try doing a search on electronics scrap gold recovery.
Think the Aqua Regia process. Alternatively, hydrogen peroxide + muratic acid. Thankfully, mercury processing seems limited to extraction from ore.
Probably not going to be able to do this at the 'Space.
