Looking to take your next step in the decorated apparel industry? My company is expanding and I’m moving into a new role with our industrial DTG department. That means I need to hire someone to replace me. Here’s what we need:
Required Skills:
- Experience with heat transfer vinyl, especially as it relates to performance fabric and specialty applications for apparel
- Basic design skills and manipulation of existing graphic assets in Illustrator and/or Photoshop
- High level of color acuity and at least some familiarity with PMS colors and matching
- A good eye for detail and the ability to pick out mistakes in artwork
- Curious about the field and able to keep up with new developments and techniques
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a production environment
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs, lift and carry boxes, reach items overhead and on the floor, and stand for 6-8 hours daily
Also good, but not required:
- Experience with print/cut digital transfers, especially on Roland VersaCamm printer/cutters
- Dye sublimation experience - either wide format or small format
- Foil application
- Heat pressing decorations on hats
- Spanish-speaking is helpful but not required
Pay is negotiable based on experience and within industry norms. Needing someone to start around November 1st. Job is located in West Dallas off Mockingbird and Irving Blvd. Work hours are from 8:30a to 5:00p.
