Help with settings in LightBurn

I’m about to do my first laser project in a long while and I’m wanting to do a cutting and engraving form for a belt from veg-tanned leather. Can the Thunders do 7-8 oz. leather with multiple passes? The online materials lists leather 1/8" thick which puts it around 3mm and that’s about the thickness of the leather I have.
The last time I did a laser project it was with RDWorks - Lightburn hadn’t been installed yet. I’ve gone over the online training material and figured out my project layout in LightBurn, but need an idea on settings.
The screenshot shows what I am trying to do:

The light grey scales are to be etched and filled. The black is to be etched and filled. Blue is detail lines and red is the cut line. What would be optimal settings for each, for someone who has done this before?

Google lightburn test pattern. If you have extra material you can use the test pattern to find the speed/power settings that work for cutting or etching

Last time I tried to cut leather the issue was that I had to go very low on the power, like 5 - 10% or it’d just utterly blast through it. Etching worked OK at like 3 - 5%. I also found it useful to wet the surface beforehand with a light film of water and in some cases I even just left a damp paper towel on it. I got satisfactory results with that (was making a foldable keychain ruler). Good luck. I’d definitely practice with lots of scrap first.

Oh also it’ll smell real bad, so be prepared for that. I think I made a post about it here so you can maybe find that and see what others had to say about it.
