Help with resin printer

Hello, so I’ve been working on a makers mark and I’ve already got the file all sliced and in the proper file format. Now, when I go to set up the printer I follow the process as described in the online quiz to a t. However when I press start on my project and the build plate attempts to go “home” it presses against the bottom of the resin tank continuously as if home is beneath it. I’m brand new to 3d printing and I have no clue what’s going on

Power the printer off then on.

Lower the head using the manual arrow buttons. Start with it set to 10mm then reduce it to 1mm then .1mm when you get close. When the tension is correct on the paper then set Z=0 and that becomes the new home.

EDIT; I should have asked if it does this during set-up or during printing. If it’s during setup then my suggestion should work. If it’s during printing then you need to reopen it in the slicer and see whether the part is shown above vs. in the build plate. If unsure, check the PUT ON PLATE button (move menu I think) and see if that changes the orientation
