…the first of two new welding fixture tables. Max is making progress on the welding tables. Over the past monthish He drilled close to what looks like 1000s of holes, we started putting the first one together late last week. Lots of pondering trying to figure out how to build something reasonably flat and square out of slightly twisted wavy heavy steel, still need to build the legs and mount tabs with jack screws to help get the table top closer to a plane. It had about 3/8" twist in the long dimension, we used a precision level and jack screws in the four corners to take the twist out. We used every square and clamp in the first photo and could have used a few more.

Yes, I watched then using a shop made jig to drill that bazillion holes (though I only witnessed a zillion or so personally )
