Gauging interest in handmade rugs… AKA Machine-Tufted Rugs
Who is currently doing it?
Who has seen it and been interested in trying it?
Who just wants to buy a rug because it’s cool?
I started making rugs a few months back and I am looking to connect with potential tufters out there to trade growth strategies, tips, suppliers, etc.
I’ve been seeing stuff on Pinterest and a few vids on youtube. Have you bought one of the tufting machines? Like it? Was learning curve easy or hard? Are you satisfied with your results?
I also would like to connect with folks using this rug making tool.
I’ve been researching and watching vids. Currently waiting on my tufting gun to come in April sometime
I really got into the videos for a bit as well and tried to justify a whole setup in the garage but we moved stuff in and the garage is no longer viable space for working. If something gets started here let me know. I would love to play around with it for a bit to see if I’m a good fibers candidate.
