HAAS Mill Qualifying?

What is the current path to getting HAAS Mill Qualification? I’ve taken the HAAS Mill Training course under Bryan but have not made my domino. I have access to Fusion 360 and HSM. Do I just proceed as usual? Create setups for the Domino, submit those, and then work on scheduling a time with a supervisor to mill one?

Not for awhile. We lost access to the FeatureCAM software that the class material was developed for and have to switch to HSM CAM software. That means that people need to learn to use the new software THEN develop new class material. I would guess it will be at least January before you see a HAAS class again.

Ahh, I’d seen that thread in the past and did not realize my question’d already been asked. Ok. So the current process would be to check with Walter, then do the regular schedule a time to get supervised and approved.

I’ll work some more on it; the last time I pulled my copy of the Double-Six into Fusion 360 it lost its dimensions for some reason. Perhaps it was just an English/Metric issue. Seems simple enough to overcome that.
