Good deals on tools

Saw a few good deals at almost half off on tools at Home Depot if anyone’s interested.

More decent deal on tools. Just came across it. Not affiliated with HD.

I wonder why the reciprocating saw between the two brands looks almost identical if not for the color.

There’s a tool store outside of Sears in Vista Ridge Mall called The Tool Box that sells these tools cheap. I think they are those tools that were returns, etc., but they work and give 30 day warranties.

I picked up a Ryobi ONE+ circular saw, drill, and two cut-off saws, each with a battery, and a big carry bag. The drill and carry bag were tossed in so I picked up the battery for it ($15) and spent a total of $95. These were off the cheap shelves where the dirty tools were, but I don’t care. These are going back and forth to the ranch for use where I don’t have power yet.

Those will go with the Ryobi compound miter saw kit (w/battery and charger) I picked up a few days ago for $85 on closeout at Home Depot.

sounds like you need an army surplus diesel generator to tow out there with you - that way you can charge the cordless batteries on site and more…

I need to repair the 2 generators I have.

One was given to me by mom and needs carb work, the other was left out on the property we bought and needs to be fully checked out and most likely repaired. Not sure if that one is salvageable or not yet as I haven’t even pulled the rope to see if the engine spins.

I went there too.
It makes sense to me if I were buying a tool that I needed now, now, now and it wasn’t on sale on HD like it is now. With the sale prices of 30% or more off I see on HD, it doesn’t make as much sense, particularly when you factor in the mfg warranty vs a 30 day warranty.
It makes less sense when you’re buying a Ridgid tool(at sale prices) which offers a free lifetime service, parts& battery replacement warranty too.
P.S. I bought some stuff there too

Took a peek. That is not a good site to visit(if you don’t want to be tempted to become a compulsive tool hoarder).

I know this all too well, however I’ve had to slow my buying of tools because my space to store them is rapidly running out.

I had to tell the wife no on a tool purchase a couple months ago because we didn’t have the room.

Uhm, I have room? (j/k)

Clarification please…

Lmao, My wife doesn’t care too much for shoes. Our latest big purchase ( radial arm saw) is still assembled in our living room. Craig is its name, It gets decorated for each season/holiday. Neither of us can remember what that tool was we talked about getting.

Cheaper Ryobi batteries.
Saw this on HD.
If you buy these two as a set.
You don’t have to return it as a set though.

One just lacks the space to store them.

i miss my old Craftsman Radial Arm Saw. I would be delighted to have another, even in the Living Room.
