Getting started on Interviewing/Podcasting

Hi guys! I’ve been thinking about getting into performing interviews/podcasts. I’ve seen that the Space has a Sony RX-10 and I’m thinking about getting my own shotgun mic. How can I get access to the RX-10? I saw on the wiki that the “Camera will be located in the locker in the Digital Media Room” but the locker is locked and I assume I have to get someone’s permission to use it. Also I have seen that there are some lights in the recording room, are those for DMS member’s use as well?

The RX-10 is locked in the locker. I sent you a PM with instructions on how to access it.
If the locker is broken though… ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯

We’ve been talking about creating a check-out system for this stuff, but the solution has been kind of elusive.
