All,
The FusionPro will be unavailable this evening (likely ~6-8pm) while I do some physical maintenance on the machine. We discovered last night an issue with the calibration of the overhead camera, and while trying to recalibrate it discovered the carriage camera isn’t working at all. This (aside from being an issue in its own right) is preventing us from recalibrating the overhead.
Epilog support wants me to dig into the mechanical side of things. This will require removing entire sections of the carriage head, making the machine un-usable until I’m done.

@SWA regardless of the outcome tonight, we’re going to need some anodized aluminum sheets to recalibrate with. The carriage camera calibration process requires the sheets still, and just opening the carriage head will likely move the camera out of alignment. The overhead is where the mat we found comes into play. Epilog has them (Anodized Aluminum) but I don’t know if the committee already has a source for them. Documentation conflicts on how much we need. Either its 3 full 24"x12" sheets to cover the entire bed, or a single 8"x5" piece. I’d rather have extra instead of too little though.
The printer is online again, however the cameras are still not calibrated properly. You will NOT print exactly what is displayed on the screen as seen with the example below.
I’m not certain how this impacts other features like engraving with the rotary attachment, but we won’t be fully re-calibrating the cameras until Saturday morning during monthly maintenance.
