Fusion and pdf question

Negative. If you are on the members network/ Wi-Fi, you can open up file explorer and in the address bar at top enter \\files and see the members and committee folders. (Well in windows at least… You can also do this in Mac and Linux, but it’s a little bit more involved). This goes for both personal computers, and any computer at the space that has a shared login/ may not auto mount the members drive.

There are some ways that we can make this a little bit easier, but also… The fusion software should be able to allow individual accounts and other things as well - it just isn’t with our setup. We had some plans when redoing the computers for laser, and also making a shared system between design and use computers on the lasers to make life easier but… -shrug-

Ah, I had searched ‘member drive access’ and only the 'how to access through remote desktop popped up. Admittedly I just typed in ‘dallas makerspace member drive’ and all the top results were talk or the wiki, and all the talk posts link to the wiki. I forgot for a second the wiki is defunct. I did go just now and search ‘member drive access’ in the source webpage and non of the results in the first page are even about the member drive. Alas

The wiki has the better cache for this under “Storing computer files”
https://dallasmakerspace.org/wiki/Storing_computer_files
while Source went with the newfangled Google storage

Adobe doesn’t offer floating licenses for Creative Cloud products.

Yeah, and we kept getting messages from Adobe about using too many licenses. That’s why we took all mentions of it off of any random computers.

Is there any more thought about doing this?
