Hi, I’m looking at starting a free trial of LightBurn and I was wondering if a license key was included in my membership in the same way SolidWorks is? Thank you to anyone that can help.
Nope. Just download the free trial from lightburn. They have just changes their pricing as of today. Our discount code is kept in Source under the Laser section.
If I’m reading the Lightburn website correctly, we would have to purchase the Pro version now if we wanted to interface with the Thunder lasers?
Hi folks. I’m also interested in the Lightburn software and if we can get it at the maker space price of $30. I’ve never purchased a software through the maker space or using our codes before. Is there a wiki for this?
Appreciate everybody’s help
Go to the Laser Committee on the “Source” [LINK] and select “Lightburn Software Discount”. NOTE - You will need to be logged in to see the link.
Is the lightburn license perpetual? I bought one with the DMS code years ago. I think it was $15 at the time.
As I understand it you get support/upgrades for one year. After that whatever version you have remains yours to use, but you don’t receive any updates unless you pay for them.
If you’re not seeing the discount code available, you have to have scored 10/10 on the online Thunder course in Learn to access the DMS Lifhtburn discount code.
