Food and open containers in Creative Arts

Just a heads up, but I’m removing “food and open drinks” (bottles with tops screwed on are still ok) from being consumed in rooms with equipment on desks. Sewing being one room, digital arts room being the other.

My apologies but I’d like to try and be pro-active, and keep our equipment working as long as possible with chances of any future spills removed.

Eating and open drinks in the main creative arts room are still ok (common sense applies here!!), just clean up when you’re done etc

The new breakroom would be an even better choice to eat in!

Thanks

Thanks! It’s annoying when someone brings in a bag of dorritos and then goes about leaving orange residue or oils on keyboards or other equipment.

Cheetos would be the worst.

This reminds me that David Kessinger used to eat them with chopsticks to avoid that problem. I miss David - he would have interesting perspectives on the events in Israel today since he had lived there for awhile.

Does like, a tumbler with a lid and a straw pass? A la Stanley et al? Idk about others but I carry water around in something like that pretty much everywhere (yay for medicine that makes you dehydrated -_-). But I’d rather not leave it in the break room unescorted where it may wander off

Ya your stanly/tervis/bubbakeg is fine. lid + straw is good.

So long as its a screw on lid. I know my tumblers press fit lid will pop off if dropped
