Do you still have this?
Yes, and I’ll lower it to $100 if you are interested.
Thanks,
Paul
I also have a couple Fluke 87V, new in box with alligator clips and thermocouple probe, manuals, CD, etc… They go for quite a bit more though, $250, but they are one of Fluke’s best meters.
I’ll be at the space tomorrow evening after 6pm…if you are still interested I could bring it so you can check it out if you like.
Paul
@paulstaf, do you still have either of these meters?
Yes, I have both. A couple of the 87V models, one 115.
Not sure how the BOD would like buying items for members but the Electronics Committee is certainly interested. The 115 is pretty much perfect for general use. The 87-V is drool worthy but I’d be concerned that it would walk off. And if we locked it up it wouldn’t be very useful.
What would you take for the Fluke 115 and how would you like to be paid?
For transparency and fairness a new Fluke 115 is about $140 and a new Fluke 87-V is about $350. I just looked them up on Amazon & Test Equipment Depot. It may be possible to find a shade cheaper but those are good benchmarks.
The last 115 I sold on Ebay went for $86, so I would take $80 from DMS for it.
One note on Fluke and their warranties…If you don’t buy directly from an authorized Fluke dealer, the warranty is void/doesn’t exist.
That said, it might be a better deal for DMS to purchase one at $140 because if purchased from an authorized dealer, it would come with a 3 year warranty…of course the warranty doesn’t cover most things that would cause you to send it in for warranty repair anyway, and Fluke is very high quality and unlikely to be DOA or die from normal use, so hedge your bet as you wish.
If you do wish to buy it from me, if there is any question or issue with anyone at DMS in the near future, I would gladly take it back and refund the money.
@paulstaf We’ll take the 115 for the committee room! I can send you a PayPal payment right now or get you a check. As far as warranty it would likely disappear within a year.
I not sure why you keep posting meter porn pictures?!
Check is fine…I’ll be at the space tomorrow night after work.
If I don’t see you, I’ll just leave the meter in the desk drawer with the other meters and we can settle up some other time.
