Over last 3 months or so I have noticed/talked to two, maybe three people wanting to fix a board or panel with more than a little twist in them. One was using the planer to try and plane one side flat…which generally won’t work.

One method the 'Able does not include, probably because he was focusing on oversized boards and slabs, is securely adhering the twisted board to something else that does have a flat, reference surface, e.g. an appropriately size piece of MDF. This unit can then be passed through the planer to initially flatten one of the surfaces, and then be parted from the MDF to complete the process.
