Fired Arts Rehab Schedule

Tuesday, December 26: 9am to 5pm will have limited availability as we do demo, removal of old furniture and cleaning

Wednesday, December 27: 9am to ~5pm will be closed for new installations and even more cleaning

If you would like to help, we’d love extra hands! This is also the last call to remove any remaining personal items you may have been storing in Fired Arts. Also, if you have any bisque or glaze pieces, I highly recommend you pick them up before the 26th. We will exercise great caution but we will be moving a lot of shelves and people around a tight area. It will be both easier for us and safer for your work for it to be elsewhere. We will be as careful as possible with in-progress greenware. Thanks!

Old shelves are mostly out so there is a lot of stuff temporarily set up on tables, please excuse the mess. Tomorrow we will be installing and building some of the new furniture and should be able to get the bulk of storage items back out of the way until we finish the rest.

Slight time change, we need to do some parts shopping and will be starting tomorrow at eleven. Thanks for your patience!

Okay! The work that blocks off the working space is pretty much done. The slab roller, wedging table and two wheels are available for use.

I’m not going to put a finish date out there because that never goes well, but we will be continuing work this week and next. One of our key pieces of furniture was damaged in shipping and is setting us back a bit.

If there is anyone available tomorrow around 10am that can help mount (not heavy) cabinets onto the wall, we could use some extra hands!
