Re smoke and doing at DMS

Ha. Yeah, even if got kiln logistics sorted, for those that may be unaware, raku puts out an alarming amount of smoke. Enough to freak neighbors and make folks wanna call the fire department if they don’t know what’s happening 
In a possible middle ground situation, the obvara puts off just a little smoke and a touch of steam (and smells like toast). It’s a definite contender for the parking lot due to the quicker fire time, tumble stacking and low materials needs. Just need to build the right sort of kiln. Perhaps someday in the future!
That’s why we’d do it late on a Saturday! The neighbors aren’t here then!
