Who here is interested in fiberglass parts and repairs? Anybody know of any classes or is interested in fiberglass repair side work projects?
Just so you know , people have done wet layups at DMS in an appropriate area as long as they clean up and protect the areas from resin. However , we do not have the ventilation infrastructure for safe machining or sanding of cured fiberglass . Machining of any glass or fiber reinforced composites is not allowed in the machine shop including the plastics area .
I am more looking for the people with the skillset. I can arrange a clean room or other environment off site and I have some projects that I would like to get completed this year. Thanks

Ah excellent. The last few times we had people doing layups in the workshop it stunk up the place something fierce (of note my sense of smell is a rumor and I could smell it) and caused immense aggravation among those who had to suffer it.
