I wanted to give you an update on the status of Phase I and Phase II expansion.
Last night (6/17/25) the Board approved the final budget (barring any unforeseen emergencies) for Phase I. As a reminder, the Phase I wrap-up includes primarily new automotive and the woodshop’s lathe room. We now need to get lifts purchased, electrical done, etc. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I do not have an understanding of the actual timing because vendors will need to be contacted, etc… If you have specific questions on timing I encourage you to attend the automotive and/or the woodshop committee meetings. Sam @sixshot357 and Burt @SWA will have specific information on timing, as it becomes available.
Also, last night (6/17/25) the Board reconfirmed its commitment to Phase II. With the standard caveat that if financial emergencies dictate changes, etc. We are dusting off plans - updating, scrubbing, etc. We will NOT be doing any kind of town hall meetings on this Phase II design cleanup. Instead, I encourage you to join the woodshop, metal shop, laser, and/or the logistics and operations committee meetings as these are the impacted committees and final designs will be done through the committees. So if you don’t attend, you get what you get 
I want to give a personal shoutout to Charlie Dodson @smallgroups for his efforts and particularly his patience has he has helped DMS through this expansion effort and Greg @Gpseale1 for his passion for getting Phase II initiated.
