Some of the trash I just removed from the scrap bin.
Cracked cast iron parts, rusted frames to thin/warped to be of use, and weld practice pieces so convoluted they can’t be reused without significant effort.

Agree on most of the items, but completely disagree on the one half round piece of practice welds. They can easily be ground off and that piece reused.
You can’t tell from the angle, but that’s not just a flat round with some beads. it would require a lot of torching with a hand plasma or a couple cut off wheels to get much useful out of it. Mess of expanded sheet metal, multiple steel plates, and that round. You can only see a portion of it from that angle.

Just pulled these.
Reminder, it is verboten to put plasmatrash in the scrap bin. It is clearly marked on the machine and the scrap bin.
One of the pieces took about 30 seconds to shear off the usable piece of one on the shear next to the vise. If there is a usable portion that’s fine, but it has to be cut off from the trash.
