I’ve just moved back to the Dallas area and was recommended the makerspace for intro classes. However, I don’t see any blacksmithing classes in the events calendar. Anyone know when/if more will be added?
I might have an idea on when the next intro class will be up. I’ve been the one that normally does this class. What days work for you. Depends on the day we can do a class then.

Hi there. I’ve also recently moved to Dallas and would like to take the intro blacksmithing class. I’m flexible on dates, just anytime outside work. Thanks.

Dang, I joined DMS late…any interest in hosting another round of induction and open forge classes? I was hoping to melt some copper and experiment with semi-continuous casting ideas.
A couple of months ago we were discussing melting copper in Jewelry, since they handle more of the non-ferrous metals. You need to use a flux when melting copper. I went to check youtube to see what they might be using as a flux. The guy who made the video I was watching was mentioning that the copper jumped around a lot. And that was because he wasn’t using any flux!!
