Enclosures around ultrasonic sensors

Anyone ever make an enclosure that covers the sort of ultrasonic sensor like

Been trying to figure my options for materials that could be placed over the sensors to disguise it and to atleast keep moisture and dust out but not interfere with the ultrasonic waves. It works fine through tissue paper but that’s too weak of a material, it doesn’t go through any type of paper at all. It seems to go through cloth like in tshirts and gaiter scarves pretty well but I was wondering if anyone had tried putting them behind some sort of tight knit metal mesh like the material that covers the housing or knows exactly what that is.

No idea if Gortex (sp) would work. Keeps liquid water out but not water vapor or air. It’s a woven material.

Google ultrasonic / acoustic impedance.
