Board of Director Elections are coming up! Here are the dates:

Sunday, March 31: Deadline for Statement of Intent
Thursday, Apr 11: Meet the Candidates
Friday, Apr 12: Deadline to request voting rights
Saturday, Apr 13: Voting begins online
Friday, Apr 26: Voting Ends Online / Friday in person voting (if desired)

With the deadline rapidly approaching, if you do not have voting rights (which can be validated at https://whoami.dallasmakerspace.org/ with your maker manager login), they can be requested by emailing [email protected] - ideally from the email on your account.

The election will start at 6pm (~20 minutes).

You will get an email from [email protected] please check your junk folder and/or whitelist it if you have trouble receiving the email.

The format will look like:

Hello {{name}},

You are registered to vote in 2024 Board of Directors Election. This ballot ends at 2024-04-26 18:00 America/Chicago.

To vote, please visit: {{voting_website_link}}

Then enter:

Elector ID - {{elector_id}}
Password - {{password}}

Or follow this link to access the ballot directly: {{direct_vote_link}}

The board discussed the election at the last board meeting and decided to leave the deadlines as is because it was decided that people should have plenty of time to vote online. It was noted that extending the deadline could be a problem for any in person voters who planned to be at DMS on Friday. Meeting minutes here - Log into Atlassian - DMS Source
