Need help resolving error message “the ohmic sensor is already detecting the plate And we haven’t started moving the plate.” Have checked consumables and look ok. Thank you
I’m not sure we’ve ever had this happen and it not be consumables. Did you take them out and wire brush them or use a fresh set? Some of what shorts may not be immediately visible.
I have actually seen that before and nine times out of 10 it’s going to be either the consumables (electrode or tip) or the nozzle. Usually nozzle.
What seems to happen if there is a buildup on the nozzle that gets inside the little air holes and sets the ohmic sensor off.
What usually works for me when this happens is to take the nozzle to the Scotch-Brite pad and clean it up, find something to clean the inside and then find something to clean all the little holes in the nozzle out. Small wire or something along those lines.
A good fresh pair consumables wouldn’t hurt either.
